Rev. Tara Culp Lain joined the Trinity staff in 2018. A native of Wilmington, she has served appointments throughout the state since completing her degree at Duke Divinity School in 1999.
Pastor Tara is passionate about fostering relationships and making new connections. She seeks to serve the church and community, building bridges between, so that each may uphold and strengthen one another. Her hope is for all people to know they are loved and to live out their love with God and neighbor.

Johannes has been on the Trinity staff since 1985 and oversees all aspects of the Market Street Campus music and worship. He is excited about the future growth of the church and the impact church growth can have on an already thriving music ministry. Joann Guttman joined the staff in January of 2008. Joann, a native of Wilmington, studied music at UNC-Wilmington and Durham University in Durham, England. She has served as director of music, assistant director of music and organist or pianist in area churches over the course of the last thirty years. Joann currently owns and operates Grace Notes Piano Studio and has taught private piano lessons for fifteen years either in her home or through a music academy. She is a member of the American College of Musicians (National Guild of Piano Teachers), Music Teachers National Association, the National Federation of Music Clubs and the American Guild of Organists. Joann feels a call first and foremost to be a worshiper and to facilitate corporate worship in the body of Christ as well as pray for the worship life of the church and has been blessed to be a part of the Trinity family.

Jenni Casteen joined Trinity's staff on June 1, 2009 as Director of Children's Ministries. She has been a member of Trinity UMC since 1967. She grew up in the church and in turn has served in various capacities. Jenni is an elementary school teacher in New Hanover County. She loves working with children and enjoys implementing new and innovative ways for Trinity's children to serve the Lord.

Bill Williams came on staff as Youth Director in 2014. He is a native of Wilmington and graduated from UNCWilmington earning a BA in Physical Education and Health. Bill has been teaching in New Hanover County and leading a Fellowship of Christian Athletes Group for over 20 years. He hopes to continue to encourage our youth to make their faith their own and to learn to study the Bible in a way that makes the stories relatable and come alive. We want to "Make Faith Real".
