Love God

Love is a choice and an action.

God is the source of our Love. Jesus is the example of what it means to Love. The Holy Spirit gives us the power to Love as he lives in our heart. We Love God through choices and actions as God Loves us first.

God is Love. Love God!

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that who- ever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
John 3:16

“What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?”
Romans 8:31-32

“Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.”
John 14:23
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”
Romans 8:28

Grow Faith

We grow faith by asking God for more faith, by obeying God. Also by keeping God’s Word in our mind.

Faith believes God watches over us, cares for us and hears our prayers. God does answer our prayers in many ways, even ways we can’t imagine.

We grow faith by understanding the Holy Spirit lives in us. God says, “I will put my Spirit in you. I will come to live in you.” The Holy Spirit lives in your heart and provides the power to serve Christ.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy. peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.

Find Family

But he replied to the man who told him, “Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?” And stretching out his hand toward his disciples, he said, “Here are my mother and my brothers! For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.”

Matthew 12:48-50

We are all bothers and sisters in Christ!

Do not rebuke an older man but encourage him as you would a father, younger men as brothers, older women as mothers, younger women as sisters, in all purity.

1 Timothy 5:1-2

Serve Others

As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace:

1 Peter 4:10

In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”

Acts 20:35

For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

Galatians 5:13-14
